Thom Browne Spring/Summer 2010

September 15, 2009 |

There may be a lot of coverage for New York's best offerings but this brand simply boosted my inner senses to put up a review for you reading pleasures. Two words, fun and refreshing. It kind of changed my perspective on shows in NYC, well for some established brands it may be too wearable yet very business inclined, but this is a very risky yet approving collection from Thom Browne. There were a lot of unusual pairings like the sequined tank top paired with vest and a see-through pants, good enough to bare for summer. For some reasons, the coats with contrasting details brought out a much more playful mood, not to say Luke Worrall looked good on yellow. As for the trousers that are unflattering in loose cut, well it could be part of the spirit of Thom Browne's Spring/Summer offering. Give it a shot by the way, maybe it will look good on you.
