Urban Outfitters extends its range of menswear brands with the introduction of Barbarian Rugby Wear this month of February. Barbarian Rugby Wear is a Canadian label that was founded by rugby enthusiast, Bill Hartle. Due to expensive pricing of game-quality rugby shirts, Hartle, who grew up in Manchester, England then moved to Canada, began producing his own label using locally sourced materials. This family-run company led by the founder’s son, Rob Hartle, uses only North American cotton with garments being manufactured vertically at their Canadian headquarters. The brand is known for their durable rugby shirts and cardigans that are seen in four colorways of allover stripes.
