When Puma first released their Bluebird silhouette back in the 1980’s, the shoe model subsequently gained a brimming charisma to the football and active lifestyle fanatics. Having a steady reputation for being the best, most lightweight shoe for indoor training, the Puma Bluebird was also adopted into terrace culture, particularly by Cardiff City Football Club. The distinctive blue/yellow colorway and reference to the club’s nickname, The Bluebirds, helped it become a staple terrace lifestyle back in the early 80s at Cardiff City FC’s former home ground – Ninian Park. Just recently, Size? in Cardiff launches the re-released models sitting alongside with a capsule collection of apparel. Preserving fully the authenticity of the shoes, the iconic archive styles are here to continue the legacy of the infamous Bluebirds.
