18 Waits Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Canadian clothing label 18 Waits describes their newest offerings for fall/winter 2011 to be their most diverse collection to date. Featuring an interesting mix of wardrobe staples for the cold months, the label includes to their new collection some wool pants and jackets that were sourced from the legendary Woolrich Mill in Pennsylvania. Also, they put into highlight their collaborative Danko hat which was a result from their tie-up with the historic Ontario-based Bilmore Hat Company. The Danko hat was inspired by the Band bassist and fellow Canadian Rick Danko. Summing up the collection is their good assortment of accessories which includes jewelry, custom flags, knives, clips and keychains.

18 Waits will be exhibiting at the upcoming Capsule shows in Berlin, New York and Las Vegas.

18 Waits Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Creative Director Daniel Torjman started to conceptualize and then launched the Canada lifestyle clothing brand 18 waits after working as a production manager for Rogan. A graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Daniel introduces a brand that celebrates a joie de vivre and an appreciation for the finer things in life, emphasizing quality in its materials and craftsmanship with a lineup of products made by artisans and manufacturers in the US and Canada.

For Spring/Summer 2011, 18 Waits delivers its third and most complete collection to date. Pieces that are highlighted in this collection are long- and short-sleeve Henley’s constructed in lightweight slub cotton, military shirting in premium Japanese fabrics, and Billy caps (newsboys) in stripes and solids, replete with leather sweatband, and custom lining. New this season is a slim-fit chino that features a super-soft cornhusk-wash. Also part of the collection is the limited-edition jewelry collection that includes dog tags, tomahawks etc., all of which are made in Canada.
