As for me, my personal rule is to wear a skinny jean that is bigger of 2 inches in waist. I don’t go with the waist size since it makes it very tight for my “chicken” legs and the crumple effect of looser skinny jeans gives a wonderful effect. Check the Mishka Boris Skinny Jeans at
