Gourmet's launch party showcased delectable set of footwear featured in an unusual plating display and some eye catching statements on the wall stating "If i were riding a horse, i would wear flannel but i am going to the disco so i wear Gourmet". The F/W 2009 collection had mid top shoes including several Uno models and duck shoes inspired styles.

Thanks to Steve Sane of Sane Communications, the email he sent containing pics of Gourmet shoes definitely caught my attention. Showing two of the four new additions from Gourmet, these two features crazy designs and avant garde look which makes the whole appearance remarkable and unusual. L'Due Canvas Zipper comes in upper full zip design which hides the lace for smoother look. Just a tip, wear it unzipped and laced. Another is the L'Uno 3/4, a comfy mid-top shoe with round toe and cutaway design which revives the early kickoff of the Gourmet Worldview. With the unique features and shapes of these shoes, Gourmet's perception towards casual wear definitely has a different approach.
