Veja releases their much awaited collaborative sneaker collection that’s produced alongside FrenchTrotters. Seen first early this year through an exclusive preview at FrenchTrotters’ Parisian stores, the expanded set of sneakers are now being released globally. The new models are made from Veja’s usual eco-conscious materials that are seen through a selection of low and high top styles. With understated colors that evoke sophistication and masculinity, the sneakers feature contrasting stripe details and white sole. This collaborative sneaker range is available for £110 (approximately ₱7,677 PHP) to £125 (approximately ₱8,724 PHP) at select retail accounts.

Veja introduces a crossover style of boat shoe and sneaker that’s named the Veja Mediterranée. Made from ecological materials that made the brand known for, this new style comes in 4 new colorways and is priced for £45. Now available at End Clothing.

Here’s the Indigenos low top sneaker from environmental French footwear brand Veja seen in exclusive oki-ni colors of Swedish blue and Grey Stone. Just like any other Indigenos models, the shoes are made from ecological, vegetable tanned suede upper with matching stitch detail, leather heel stripe and natural Amazonian rubber sole. Veja Presents Centre Commercial

Centre Commercial, a new space curated by Veja, opened a few weeks ago in Paris. This new project, initiated by two founders of Veja, combines fashion with social commitment and artistic project with environmental concerns establishing a space infused by their varied influences. Centre Commercial offers labels made in France, Great Britain and Denmark and houses second-hand bicycles, vintage furniture and art works. It is a collective space, uniting local, social and environmental initiatives.

Presenting its Fall/Winter 2010 lookbook showcasing new style features, uncluttered lines and subtle look, the timeless Veja Indigenos debuts this Fall/Winter 2010. Coming in classic palette of camel, brown and navy colourways, the shoes are available in high or low cut models. The Veja Indigenos are made from chrome-free tanned suede, with soles in wild rubber - as harvested by Seringueiros on rubber trees in the Amazon.

About the lookbook, it features characters from some of the best indie stores in Europe namely Oi Polloi, Prive Joke, Addict, No Void Plus, Diverse Menswear, Antic Boutik, and The Three Threads. Photographed by Henrike Stahl and styled by Annabelle Jouot, all representatives met at the Veja studio in Paris to be part of the brand’s tribute to their work and vision as they represent the essence of the Indigenos style.

Veja Projet Numero Deux Bags

Few weeks ago, I have featured you the beautiful Veja for Oi Polloi sneakers. Now, here's another line from the brand named 'Projet Numero Deux'. The "line features quality crafted, soft leather bags, canvas day-bags and lightweight backpacks in neutral colour ways." The bags are made from organic cotton canvas and vegetable-tanned leather outsourced from Brazil.

Veja for Oi Polloi

Veja presents to us their exclusive styles for Manchester's men's clothing and footwear retailer Oi Polloi, seen on these two interesting low cut sneaks. Both made from organic cotton from north east Brazil and Amazonian wild latex, the Veja Indígenos Clay is made with ecological suede upper and natural latex detailing while the Veja Tauá Leather Moonrock is made with full grain taupe leather upper with latex and gum vulcanized sole.

Veja was set up in 2003 by two Frenchmen determined to fight worldwide deforestation, exhaustion of natural resources and Labour exploitation. To their credit they managed to come up with one of the best looking fair trade products we've seen.
