Volcom Collaborates with Krochet Kids International

For Autumn 2011, Volcom has teamed up with Krochet Kids international, a grass roots movement and organisation whose mission is to empower people to rise above poverty. Their aim is to create sustainable economic development programs that support holistic growth of individuals and communities within developing nations and to inspire the knowledge about their ability to bring change to a world that is in need.

The collaboration consists of four hand-crocheted hats that feature two men’s and two women’s styles. The hats are handmade in Northern Uganda by a group of 87 women participating in an economic development program. Click here to avail the products.

"Teaming up with the National Coalition for the Homeless, Volcom is issuing a call to action to give jeans a second chance—bring your unwanted, ill-fitting, last season’s denim to a participating local store and help those in need.
