MGMT has been buzzing out for the past few seasons as we heard some of their songs in the runway soundtrack of some major fashion shows. But this time, let us set a side about their music as the fashion powerhouse Gucci is getting some inspiration about the band's image for S/S 2009 collection. Frida Gianini's tropical tour was derived from her preference which is the MGMT group. Vintage military jackets and shorts in surfers mood, bohemian-ish accessories and some two-tone colored pants sums up the show as a new perspective of mixing and matching were the main idea of Gucci's creative director. MGMT's time to pretend was played in the finale of the show.
