Little did i know that this rising star, Sigrid Agren, was born in Martinique. After googling the country where she's from, Martinique, which lies in the eastern Carribean Sea is an overseas department of France which means it is a department of the country but only located outside metropolitan France (now that's what makes her French!). Anyway, enough with that geographical stuff, lets go back to this lovely star. In 2004, she entered the Elite Model Look in Martinique and wins the model search in semifinals in Paris and signs with Elite in Europe in 2005. Shortly after 2 years, she stopped for a while in modelling and took serious on her studies. In 2008, she signed with New York Model Management and also with the same year, campaigns were sprouting everywhere in her career. She opened several shows like Alexander McQueen, Andrew Gn, Barbara Bui, Karl Lagerfeld, Sonia Rykiel, Wunderkind, and Yves Saint Laurent shows. She also appeared in editorials including Numéro, Italian Marie Claire & Flair. She also became one of the faces of Prada which was photographed by Steven Meisel. Recently, she interviewed Karl Lagerfeld asking about the iconic designer's face after waking up in the morning. She also asked some advises on being a supermodel to Lagerfeld which brought us to some hot informations. This 18 year-old rising star is something to be watched for the upcoming seasons because she's not just beautiful, she's one of a kind!
