Known as purveyors of authentic design and construction, Spiewak has been producing quality outerwear for a century now. Part of the timeline was their provision of the uniforms for the U.S. Navy back in 1910. Now, Spiewak has designed a limited-edition re-creation of their original pea coat for Urban Outfitters. With development help from Jerry Spiewak, grandson of the founder who once wore the coat for the World War II, the garment retains its integrity with important features: “classic star anchor buttons, a reissue damask neck label, and curved double-welt pockets with embroidered three-section arrowheads.”

Spiewak Naval Pea Coat is available in Urban Outfitters stores and online for $198.

Nice. That may be just the jacket for my husband this year. At $198, I'm not sure if I can find a better one at that price level.
