Commonwealth Utilities Fall/Winter 2010 Collection

Designer Anthony Keegan presented his Fall/Winter 2010 collection for Commonwealth Utilities with naval inspired office wear and lifestyle outfits. Inspired by 1982 film, "An Officer and a Gentleman", outerwear pieces like coats and suits are in utmost sophisticated tailoring while sweaters arrived in casual vibe. Trousers are also well tailored and long johns made it even more nautical. Also blending well with the collection are leather and plaid on various coats, suits and jackets.

Commonwealth Utilities Fall/Winter 2010 Preview

Fast forwarding to the next cold seasons, Commonwealth Utilities previews their F/W 2010 collection designed by Anthony Keegan. Warm it is, expected thick garments are seen from the teaser with knitwear and woolen fabrics smartly used. Photographed by Deborah Park and modeled by Gavin Grymes, CU designer Anthony Keegan himself styled every looks. Commonwealth Utilities will showcase at Capsule Paris this January.

Here's the video montage of Commonwealth Utilities S/S 2010 presentation during NY Fashion Week on September 13th at Astor Place Hair in NYC. With Major models dominating the show, "it" guy Chad White opened the presentation complementing the whole vibe of Commonwealth Utilities S/S offerings.

Commonwealth Utilities Spring/Summer 2010

I didn't know what or how to associate Commonwealth Utilities with the proper words before, but not until I glimpsed their preview for this Spring/Summer 2010 and even seeing this whole new collection. Anthony Keegan and Richard Christiansen may have been working hard to make their brand as unique as it is, yet they managed to make Commonwealth Utilities a very fresh and a "to look forward" brand, something that works for me.

For their latest offerings, the collection arrayed several types of shorts (the new trousers) paired in almost all sorts of tops they could offer for Spring/Summer 2010. Colors are almost in black, but pink and white simply couldn't be resist adding a little bit of feminine touch to the collection. As for the location, Astor Place Hair definitely complemented their show, a perfect cut with a fresher look, not to mention the associate words for the brand, it would definitely be dapper and sensual, creating a heck of a show in an unusual place with the most casual yet effortless stylish looks.
