Introducing DRT Jeans

August 14, 2010 |

Vancouver-based denim manufacturer Dish Jeans introduces their new line of men's denim called DRT Jeans. Based on garment durability as a meaningful method of contributing to the Green Movement, Gary Lenett, founder of Dish Jeans and its brands, believes making a better jean is the best way to reduce waste rather than soly using eco-friendly fibers.

The jeans are assured with durability from five key stress areas: back pockets feature extra fabric to avoid the consumer’s wallet wearing through, belt loops are inserted into the waistband and reinforced with bar tacks to secure them, hems have extra fabric sewn on the inside to prevent the back hem from falling apart due to fraying, front pockets are riveted to keep seams intact, front pocket bags have an extra chain stitch – the strongest stitch in jeans construction - and a bartack at the bottom to ensure nothing falls through.
