A very sartorial piece, I love the overflowing sophistication (regardless of the paint detail) and how it transformed from a predestined-to-be rugged styling to a distress-free artistic piece. Alexander McQueen Leather Parka

Here's a cool parka from Alexander McQueen that looks incredible in olive green. Coming in quilted style, this full lambskin parka has a Canadian coyote fur trimmed hood that is optional for you to use. It's detachable by the way. With an oversized fit, you can either leave it like that or emphasize your waist with a drawstring. Additional details include two slanted pockets on chest and cuffs are ribbed elasticated leather. Alexander McQueen: The Egg Chair

The dogtooth prints were some of the highlights at Alexander McQueen's A/W 2009 Womenswear collection but it wouldn't be seen on outerwear as the Brit bad boy will, once again, feature this on his "Egg Chair" part of his special project. "Inspired by the organic shapes and soft curves of the luxurious Alexander McQueen boutiques, the chairs will also be adorned with the instantly recognizable skulls heads affiliated with the British label as a feature on the zips." To go along with next season's Women's Collection "The Horn of Plenty", he will produce 5 customised limited edition chairs that will arrive this September in London and New York boutiques.

With their latest collection coming in from their "it" team up, The Fashionisto gives us the Fall 2009 Puma by Alexander McQueen collection. Inspired by boxing, a sporty yet stylish pieces are seen with a much more functional vibe. Some knockout pieces including sweatshirts and jackets are all applied with the essence of Alexander McQueen addressing the British bad boy's less theatric more athletic approach to the new collection show's he's one and only.

Milan Trend: Fold-Up

Whether paired with crisp suits or trench coats, pants or trousers in different kind are seen in not-so full length. Fold-ups were a hit trend this season and it has been a street fashion even before the fashion week kicked off. If you happen to be a big fan of Scott Schuman's The Sartorialist, then you would definitely notice this fold-up trend to those modern dandies featured in the blog. We've seen fold-ups in baggy, slim fit or in any kind style. Le Hommes's ultra polished black trousers had it futuristic with its style, while Missoni's fading effect got it twisted with an appearance of shocking blue. Whatever it is, it wouldn't be surprising if Paris would do the same, folding a dapper way.

An Alexander McQueen Film Directed By David Sims & Spring/Summer 2010 Lookbook

Here's the film from Alexander McQueen directed by David Sims for the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Best alternative it is, the film showed emotions opposite to the euphoric mood of summer vibe. As seen in the film, the actor portrayed different ways of releasing stress including freehand painting, wood throwing and even abstract pocket pen brushing coming from the heavy emotions that you get from the unhappy emotion. Putting in to some of the shirts, jackets, pants and even shoes, freehand and abstract painting design popped out with its contrasting features reminding me of the smoke design from last season's collection. For the overall look, the collection has a light and masculine vibe with humble colors and exquisite graphics enough reason for the collection to be in a smooth sailing condition.
