Porto-based menswear online shop Por Vocacao has given attention to lookbook presentation as one of their mediums to promote their new stocks for the upcoming seasons. Shot on a scorching summery day right at the coastal/tanning spot nearby the beach, the contrasting idea of wearing thicker garments has inspired Por Vocacao to execute their first ever fashion shoot. Early deliveries of Autumn/Winter 2011 pieces from Acne, Margiela, Paul Smith, Our Legacy and Band of Outsiders are now being stocked at their online shop.

Denim Gallery Biarritz Spring/Summer 2011 T-Shirts

Denim Gallery’s ongoing collaboration with worldwide artists and designers have presented some of the well designed shirts for the season. Following the theme of Love for this time of the year, the shirts are reflected by it but with the collaborators' twists. Adam Kimmel Bandana Roll Up Sleeves

Adam Kimmel is known for taking inspiration from artists, cowboys and more recently hip hop icon Snoop Dogg, someone he has grown up listening to. For SS11 and deeply inspired by Snoop’s original personal style and the bandana prints he uses throughout his clothing, Adam Kimmel created a custom bandana print design that shows up on the roll up sleeves of t-shirts and shirts. After researching several bandana designs, he came up with his own cashmere cotton blend ones and incorporated it into the sleeves reverse, very West Coast Doggystyle. Now available at Por Vocacao.

Video | Maison Martin Margiela Line 8 – Eyewear Collection

Por Vocacao presents the video of Maison Martin Margiela’s new Eyewear Collection for this season. “Featuring an optometrist eye chart concept, the video introduces the brand’s two new concepts for SS11, Anatomic – an enlarged rounded shape enveloping the face to protect the full visual field and Wrong Size – a geometric play on lenses seemingly ill-fitting the frame.”

Por Vocacao adds to their hot selection of footwear these two beautiful n.d.c. espadrilles for this season. "The n.d.c. espadrilles make for an easy, lightweight option for summer footwear. Available in two models, Maxim Laced – with brown washed linen uppers with occasional greased effect and, Pablo Lavagna – in a rich brown tone anthracite grey suede, they both feature leather stitched soles and the classic natural fiber jute braiding around the foot along with other sweet top-notch trimmings." Maison Martin Margiela Spring/Summer 2011 Solid Brass Bracelets

Let’s hear it from the good guys over Por Vocacao. “Every once in a while we get rubbed just the right way by some kind of accessory and that is certainly the case with these new Margiela bracelets. Designed for SS11, they are made from solid brass and available in two distinctive finishes, old matte gold and white with blue scuffed paint effects. Completed with a simple clasp closing mechanism and the Maison‘s numbers engraved at the back of the wrist.” Get them here.

Buttero Spring/Summer 2011 Natural Sneakers

The bandwagon of eco-friendly labels are becoming a widespread nowadays. Ecologically wise, I have positive thoughts about it and it’s actually a good movement, especially for these modern-day environmental issues that we’re held responsible for. I love sneakers, and there’s no doubt about that. Design for a shoe is a big factor, along with the silhouette and, of course, functionality. But one thing that I’m concerned now is the materials used to come up with such fascinating footwear.

Releasing a newer perspective towards their collection this season is Buttero, the recent footwear brand to jump on the eco-friendly bandwagon. Their offerings this season presents a new recycled rubber sole to each of the footwear (featured above). The sole is made from scraps recovered from industrial process combined with various color granules to create an artistic marbled finish. The sneakers also feature a natural coconut fiber insole, obtained from coconut husk and displaying impressive qualities such as lightweight, breathability and isolation. Topping it all off literally are vegetable tanned leather uppers, a process based on the use of natural tannins from trees and the only one that can impart unique properties to the leather, combining comfort and aesthetics, versatility and highlighting the uniqueness of the products.

The shoes are available from western stitched low tops to hiking boot inspired mids designs. Just so you know, Por Vocacao stocks these newly dropped goody footwear.

For a tribal effect, I like a tooth pendant on my necklace. You know, it makes things very bohemian or effortless for some instances. Coming up with such unique concept that produced several accessories made out of wood, these wallets from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection of Maison Martin Margiela are among the first ones to arrive at Por Vocacao online shop. Highlighting the handmade construction with particular distressed looks, the boots comes with metallic shoe eyelets and sockets, fully lined interiors and contrasting white rubber soles. Raf Simons Double Breasted Short Jacket
