Barbour 75th Anniversary Original Jacket

December 22, 2010 |

Known for its historic outdoor clothing and well recognized durability, Barbour’s 75 year legacy flares up with the revival of its iconic International jacket that pays homage to the brand’s role in motorcycling history. “The first Barbour International Jacket was created specifically for the 1936 International Six Day Trials, which is where the name came from. Like all the best designed stuff, the form of the original International followed the function and it became ubiquitous amongst professional motorcyclists through the 1950s, 60s and 70s. The International was even favoured by actor and King of Cool - Steve McQueen, not to mention the legendary stunt rider Bud Ekins, whose famous fence leap in The Great Escape remains etched in our minds.”

The 75th Anniversary Original Jacket is available in two finishes – olive and distressed olive. You can get it at Oi Polloi.
