[Vimeo Corner] Baron Bane - Echoes (in 3D)

May 18, 2011 |

Baron-Bane-3D
A third single coming from the upcoming debut album LPTO, Baron Bane sets a good vibe of indie/electronic/pop composition along with this interesting audio visual presentation of 3D rotating tube. Entitled “Echoes”, this song draws to mind Bat for Lashes’ less hardcore intensity and fellow Scandinavian Röyksopp’s vocals but with a constant band-like fast pace drumbeat.

Boarding-Surface-Band
Boarding Surface is a young Swedish band that consists of four young teenagers from Bomhus, the suburb of a small industrial town of Gävle in northern Sweden. Their vocals are quite similar to those favored indie English bands of mine. Check out their debut EP entitled "You and Me" below.

The 37th Chamber, the brainchild of Gerald Watson and DJ 2-Tone Jones, is a specialty mixtape project that has 2-Tone artfully blending the acapellas of rappers from the Wu-Tang Clan with hand picked jazz instrumentals.

Here are two collaborative tracks by Elliot Lipp that’s taken from the Brolabs album. Electronic as it may seem, these cool tracks are worth to check out. By the way, if you’re looking for a runway upbeat music, I highly recommend these two.

HeavyFeet vs. Raze - All I Want

April 14, 2011 |

“All I Want” is a returning-to-the-club sound and the first original track for 2011 by HeavyFeet. Infused with Chicago house music, jumpy beats, and cool synth stabs, I recommend you to check out the music below.

As it begins with an interesting gush of roaring sound, the next rushing beat welcomes the second degree tune as evident to the whispering vocals. Blended with a tribal/minimal beat that surely up heaves everyone’s clubbing party, SuperDre’s “Get ‘Em Up” track definitely is an appetizing anthem for a progressing lively night.

MartyParty to Release SKUKUZA

December 3, 2010 |

On December 14th, MartyParty will release his first EP named “SKUKUZA” that will be brought forth by The Confluence Post Label alternative. Known for his purple bass drops to the booming bass music scene, MartyParty’s take on the electronica blends with the rich melodic layering of beat, bassline, and harmonics resulting to an intense, full frequency, climax. Packed with pure original compositions of 6 tracks, I got here a sample from the release that sets a thrilling pound, progressive vibe and ironic mellow.

Head on here to listen “Los Angeles”.

Serenading us with subtle appeal of acoustic melodies, Burberry Acoustic have filmed exclusively this beautiful and humble performance by four-piece band Patch Williams. You can watch the video after the click.

Kitsuné undoubtedly provides a jaunty feel in presenting its collection with who-wears-the-clothes-first-wins type of competition. Featuring pieces from the latest Spring 2011 “Reporter” collection, we pay credit to Fabien Constant & Loïc Prigent for creatively pulling off good videos including the past seasons’ presentation. Setting the mood with really cool vibe, all music used in the video are teasers from the Kitsuné Maison 10 “The Fireworks Issue” to be released November 29th, 2010.
