Nash x Second Son T-shirt

June 20, 2010 |

Transferring his signature moccasin cross stitch from sneakers to clothing, Nash Money gears up a collaborative effort with Second Son seen on this cool run of t-shirt. The main agenda here was all about the enlarged photographic print circling the entire hem of the tees and the collaborative logo topping off at the chest pocket. "Since Nash magnified his stitching for the design, Second Son shrank him down for their photoshoot to fit in with a selection of his hats, shoes and the tools of his trade. The t-shirt is available now in two colourways: Nash's trademark electric blue on a white tee and bright teal on black." Get it here.

Second Son Spring/Summer 2010 (Updated)

May 27, 2010 |

As I featured you before the Second Son Spring/Summer 2010 collection, we kind of came across with few selections from the brand. Now, they have released an updated version to it. Thanks to the style and substance combination, it seems that the streetwear brand is getting much into my blood as it goes along with the fashionable aspect of cut 'n' sew technique seen on their offerings.

The pocket tees are a natural progression from this, utilizing a completely new slimmer cut t-shirt and interesting button-down embroidered fabric on the pockets which make these tee's both wearable and sartorially versatile.

The Oxford shirt appears in a classic blue as well as a light grey, and features unusual tonal paneling on the cuff placket, breast pocket, shoulder yoke and hem, while the ever popular Second Son Selvedge denim is back with a vengeance, and appears alongside a new Slim Cut denim that is available in three variant colourways of grey, light blue and black.

Chinos are never far from a true English gent's heart, and these tailored tan Chinos feature corozo nut buttons and a dark brown suede coin pocket and back pocket trim that bring distinction and a feel of real quality and luxury to this preppy classic.

Following on from the success of the hugely limited mid-season Sherlock Holmes hat drop Second Son expand their accessory repertoire with belts. Made in Italy from premium fabrics such as leather, suede and waxed string, they feature an embossed Second Son monogram and come in three different colourways. A powder blue and indigo is subtle yet smart, while the dark brown leather and bright hunting green suede detail channels a bit of the urban Robin Hood in all of us. The bright turquoise and yellow woven belt is all about summertime pop and massively reflective of the role colour plays throughout the collection.

Second Son Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

February 1, 2010 |

Second Son previews their Spring/Summer 2010 collection with detailed shots of new Pocket tees and Oxford shirt. Adding to the brand's infamous graphic shirts, the tees are in an updated, and slightly more fitted cut. Coming in two styles, the pockets feature subtle floral print, and a bright check. For the Oxford, the silhouette is classic and clean updated with purple cuff and top buttons along with two-tone detailing seen on cuff plackets, shoulder yoke and hem trim. Second Son branding is toned down with the simplicity of signature bolt flag label along with purple button. More from the collection, expect a chino and slimmer cut selvedge denim dropping at second-son.com on April Fools' Day.
