Milan Trend: Fold-Up

Whether paired with crisp suits or trench coats, pants or trousers in different kind are seen in not-so full length. Fold-ups were a hit trend this season and it has been a street fashion even before the fashion week kicked off. If you happen to be a big fan of Scott Schuman's The Sartorialist, then you would definitely notice this fold-up trend to those modern dandies featured in the blog. We've seen fold-ups in baggy, slim fit or in any kind style. Le Hommes's ultra polished black trousers had it futuristic with its style, while Missoni's fading effect got it twisted with an appearance of shocking blue. Whatever it is, it wouldn't be surprising if Paris would do the same, folding a dapper way.

Les Hommes Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Another brand who sticked to primary colors all mixed with different sorts of fusion is Les Hommes. Seeing baggy pants, drop crotch and the infamous not-so-fold-up slim fit trousers, the collection also had contrasting details specially the pairings of silky hooded jackets in a very crisp unpolished looked suit. The white ensembles also had the refreshing appeal, seeing every pieces in all shades of white neutralizes things even though the collection weren't so flamboyant at all.
