Missoni x Converse Premium Chuck Taylor Hi

December 18, 2009 |

Here's a first. LA Times finally got it in with some worthy informations about the Missoni and Converse collaboration sneakers. "The classic Chuck Taylor All Star high-top shoe will be served up in two different versions of Missoni's signature zigzag pattern printed on the sides and tongue, with colors that tie back to Missoni's Fall/Winter 2010 menswear collection. The circle patch (the design that sits at about the ankle bone of the wearer) is rendered in brown leather, and the traditional "license plate logo" at the heel is monochrome."

Two styles of Missoni for Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars will be available at Missoni boutiques in New York City and Beverly Hills and other select retailers beginning in early April and retail for $200.

Whether paired with crisp suits or trench coats, pants or trousers in different kind are seen in not-so full length. Fold-ups were a hit trend this season and it has been a street fashion even before the fashion week kicked off. If you happen to be a big fan of Scott Schuman's The Sartorialist, then you would definitely notice this fold-up trend to those modern dandies featured in the blog. We've seen fold-ups in baggy, slim fit or in any kind style. Le Hommes's ultra polished black trousers had it futuristic with its style, while Missoni's fading effect got it twisted with an appearance of shocking blue. Whatever it is, it wouldn't be surprising if Paris would do the same, folding a dapper way.
