Whether paired with crisp suits or trench coats, pants or trousers in different kind are seen in not-so full length. Fold-ups were a hit trend this season and it has been a street fashion even before the fashion week kicked off. If you happen to be a big fan of Scott Schuman's The Sartorialist, then you would definitely notice this fold-up trend to those modern dandies featured in the blog. We've seen fold-ups in baggy, slim fit or in any kind style. Le Hommes's ultra polished black trousers had it futuristic with its style, while Missoni's fading effect got it twisted with an appearance of shocking blue. Whatever it is, it wouldn't be surprising if Paris would do the same, folding a dapper way.

Iceberg Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

June 25, 2009 |

Modern dandy, let this collection from Iceberg's S/S 2010 collection be a guide for you to understand the whole motif of it. With the whole goody vibe brought by the smiley models at the end of the runway, every shades of gray in some sort of patterns or even the color alone gives the whole sartorial image with an array of cropped jackets and pants. Footwear in every model gives that outstanding feel with different silhouettes, may be loafers or sneakers, some came in pastel colors while some in a contemporary mix. With wearable pieces ready to take off from the rack, the collection didn't have that striking look nor upsetting pieces, it was more of being smooth without the silky feel.

Iceberg's glossy coats

April 20, 2009 |

The Iceberg menswear collection for F/W 2009 started with a grey goofy sweater and high-tech sneakers. But that's not the deal here, its the trench that we're talking! Three raincoats were showcased in the show each with different colors (red, blue and black). These smart and eco-friendly looking coats are something to be grabbed for the next season.

There were several viewers in Youtube who keeps on asking about the music used in the first part of the Iceberg S/s ‘09 menswear fashion show. Well, the music used in the first part was actually “Life After Sundown” by Glass Candy. They also used Glass Candy’s “Beatific” but with a different beat.

Life After Sundown and Beatific is in the album B/E/A/T/B/O/X of Glass Candy.
