Burberry-Prorsum-Pre-Spring-2012-collection
Iconic British fashion house of Burberry has just recently unveiled their Pre-Spring Collection for 2012 that’s full of intricacy on the design and creativity. With their foundation that’s based on the brand’s heritage pieces, the advancement of the clothing are heightened up from the idea of Christopher Bailey’s emphasis to artisanal and decorative pieces.

From the collection, there’s this eruption of certain romantic feel that’s infused with playful approach of modernism. Embellished pullovers, printed trunks, and classic trench coat in solid yellow gives a good youthful match to the iconic pieces while killer chambray pairings and ultra sleek and sharp suits have added yet another good credit to this standout collection.

Burberry-Prorsum-Autumn-Winter-2011-Bags
Providing us with some formal shots of what was presented along with the main pieces from the Burberry Prorsum Fall 2011 show are the bags that are needless to say “to-die-for”. Offering with wide ranging designs that are fitted for formal to casual styling, these bags are one of the most interesting accessories I’ve seen this year so far. The bags are made with materials that composes sophisticated forms and shapes, namely these are seen on either croc skin leather, canvas and fur.

Burberry-Prorsum-Fall-2011-Finale
The menswear shows in Milan have officially started and to start my coverage of it, I’ll begin with the Fall 2011 collection of Burberry. Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey presented a collection that’s loaded with outerwear, specifically oversize coats with sculptural silhouettes. Establishing a show that presents the “Weather Boys” rendition of Burberry, it started with an impressive display of colorful checked and tailored coats. The show progressed with the arrival of the iconic pieces that were modernly interpreted. Included from it were several styles of duffle wear and tailored double-breasted coats that were seen with fur detailing and quilt finish. The finale of the show saw the models wearing transparent raincoats on the rainy catwalk.

Burberry Shearling Lined Tote

November 10, 2010 |

Aside from the boots that featured furry details, another outstanding item from Burberry's men's accessory range will be this shearling lined tote. From the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, the leather bag comes with removable adjustable crossbody strap, metallic zip top closure, inner zip pocket and a Burberry Prorsum plaque on inner pocket. Now available at Burberry.

Here we have four impressive shearling coats and jackets from Burberry Prorsum's Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. These updated outerwear(s) are based from Burberry archive, Chief Creative Officer Christopher has worked with, for future colder months. Loving the aviator and military aesthetic, 3 of which are heavy looking aviator jackets and peacoat while the other one, the military canvas parka, looks extremely versatile and lighter. Get it here.

Seasonal change means rock and roll lads for Christopher Bailey's fresh offering for Burberry. Inserting leather bikers to the epitome of ultimate British fashion, there was an interesting mix of some unexpected paired pieces like the studded jacket overlapping an olive shirt which delivered a German-officer-turned-charm-rocker look. Trenches were, as always, seen on the runway with some added with extra length. Footwear goodies delivered stunning approach to almost all looks, taking notice on the black leather strap sandals which I highly believe a new S/S 2011 trend.

The military agenda still goes on for Burberry with marching models, parade of coats and military aesthetic - of course. Excessive showcase of outerwear featured stunning pieces including a brown parade coat and navy double breasted topcoat both emphasized with gold studs details. Consistency over slim fit trousers are complementing along with shearling lined leather boots which boosted the European vibe of the collection.
