The distinctive ‘liquid finish’ is produced through a process where thousands of microspheres (tiny glass balls), are sprayed onto the jacket, which is then baked to set the colour and the reflective properties making it flexible, durable and visible from up to 300m. The appearance of the jacket is also subject to colour change depending on the temperature of your environment ranging from mid-blue to snow white. The fabric technologies and research are exclusive to Stone Island so it is a really exciting and unique product.

Oliver Spencer Navy Gardener's Jacket Exclusive at My-Wardrobe
October 19, 2009 Posted by admin at 7:16 PM | Labels: Fashion, Jacket, My-Wardrobe, Oliver SpencerExclusive to my-wardrobe.com, British designer Oliver Spencer has arrived at the online store with a unique offering, the Gardener's Jacket. Rendered in a subtle plaid fabric from a mill based in the Dolomites in Northern Italy, the jacket's practical feel goes well with the classic design and styling of Oliver Spencer. The outer pockets along with the color and some details combined the concept of being smart and casual all in one beautiful autumnal jacket.
"Oliver Spencer started designing at just 22 years old and since then his menswear collections have gone from strength to strength, with the The Rolling Stones and Dickie Ashcroft counted amongst the brand’s many fans. The self-taught designer started out making tailored pieces and gradually his collections have evolved to encompass all that the modern man would wish for in a clothing brand: practicality, style and durability. Inspired by Britain, its history and its people, Oliver Spencer’s traditional clothes display a thoroughly modern edge without being a slave to fashion trends. Drawing inspiration from hunting, fishing and also a touch of Americana; the pieces are all inherently British in style, with half the line made in the UK. Each garment shows attention to detail and quirky design features which are sure to set you and your wardrobe apart from the rest. A mix of tailoring and street wear, Oliver Spencer’s clothes bridge the gap between smart and casual, resulting in a wearable and interesting collection which has a place in every man’s wardrobe."

Fraser Moss and Jimmy Collins did have passion for fashion, and YMC is enough reason to prove you they are really dedicated to it. Formed in 1995, the British born brand caters both fashionable and working man offering stylish, functional and modern clothing that isn't controlled by trends every season. Offering delectable "made to last" pieces, they keep up in todays increasing demand with styles and silhouettes accommodating the needs of modern dandies.
As for their A/W collection, The Side Cinch Zip Up Cardigan combines both classical outerwear design in unique modern details that is a key piece for this season. Inspired by hunting jackets, the Talon zips breaking the v-neck line design (associated with the great depression during 1930's) is unique along with details such as side cinches at waist and darts at the back.
The autumnal shade of burgundy is an exclusive color of the cardigan available at My-Wardrobe coming in limited edition.
My-Wardrobe: We’re thrilled to announce the debut launch of YMC online at my-wardrobe.com for Autumn Winter - tell us a bit about the current collection.
YMC: Autumn winter 09/10, YMC’s collection harks back to the harsh but simpler times of early 20th century, when clothes were basic, classic, and made to last. Inspired by European and American work wear from the great depression of the 1930’s, the menswear collection features traditional natural fabrics - cotton, flannel, and cotton and wool mixes. Leather coats are lined with military blankets, whilst priest collars lend shirts an air of austerity. Other pieces, though inspired by pioneer hunting and fishing, benefit from modern technical advances.
In true YMC style attention to detail is paramount – chinos are tapered to a perfect fit, duffle coats are beautifully lined with shearling.
