Showing us a glimpse into his new diffusion line, Oliver Spencer presents these two new shoes exclusively made for the season. Named "Cricket" and "Kyak", these shoes are said to bridge the gap between casual affordability and high end market, something that he’s known for. The first style, the "Cricket", is a light weight Derby style shoe that comes in either Navy Nubuck or both Caramel and Dirty Buck Suede. The other is the "Kyak", a moccasin style boot in Navy, Burgundy or Peanut. Both shoes are made in Portugal and are available exclusively at Oliver Spencer’s new shoe shop on Lamb’s Conduit St. in London’s Bloomsbury.
British designer Oliver Spencer has recently opened a footwear store located on Lamb’s Conduit Street in London’s Bloomsbury. This new investment is Oli’s vision of a perfect men’s footwear store, a haven of strong, masculine footwear design that’s an “antidote to the sneaker hybrids, square toes and faux naïve styling that pass for seasonal shoe trends.” The footwear shop is a collaboration between Oliver Spencer and Simon Spiteri, former Head of Menswear at Liberty London, that houses some premiere footwear offerings like the Northampton-made lace up, deck shoe and moccasins.
Presenting his Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, Oliver Spencer’s fashion show opened the Menswear day at London Fashion Week which took place at the Mercer Street Studios at Covent Garden. The iconic designer’s admiration for British fashion reflects the newly presented looks along with his personal clothing obsessions. Inspired by the late 70s ska music, this confident collection shares a spot with the humble tailored English-made suits that’s a new addition to the line.
Dropping off some pieces that comes with clean cut and casual appeal, Oliver Spencer’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection are now available at Number Six London. A highlight from the offerings is the unique “Fisher” jacket that is a reinterpretation of Oliver’s classic outerwear he uses for fishing back in the 80s. Check out the fine assortment of menswear below.

Rendered in a subtle plaid fabric from a mill based in the Dolomites in Northern Italy, the jacket's practical feel goes well with the classic design and styling of Oliver Spencer. The outer pockets along with the color and some details combined the concept of being smart and casual all in one beautiful autumnal jacket.
"Oliver Spencer started designing at just 22 years old and since then his menswear collections have gone from strength to strength, with the The Rolling Stones and Dickie Ashcroft counted amongst the brand’s many fans. The self-taught designer started out making tailored pieces and gradually his collections have evolved to encompass all that the modern man would wish for in a clothing brand: practicality, style and durability. Inspired by Britain, its history and its people, Oliver Spencer’s traditional clothes display a thoroughly modern edge without being a slave to fashion trends. Drawing inspiration from hunting, fishing and also a touch of Americana; the pieces are all inherently British in style, with half the line made in the UK. Each garment shows attention to detail and quirky design features which are sure to set you and your wardrobe apart from the rest. A mix of tailoring and street wear, Oliver Spencer’s clothes bridge the gap between smart and casual, resulting in a wearable and interesting collection which has a place in every man’s wardrobe."
