Here’s a video interview by Le Visionnaire that features Thomas Giorgetti, co-founder of the clothing brand “Bleu de Paname”. From this video, Thomas talks about his background in the sneaker and graffiti world, the success of “Bleu de Paname” and his latest collaboration with Japanese fashion label “Comme des Garçons”.

Prior to co-found the Parisian brand "Bleu de Paname" Thomas Giorgetti was best known for being the editor in chief of the magazine "SPRAY" with a multitude of hats from consulting for the sneaker and fashion industry, to an influencer.

It was at "Radikal" that Thomas made his debut. He did his internship graduation at the end of which he develops his alter ego "snkr ADKT" which ends on the senior series "Lil 'Tyler'", a magazine dedicated to the sneaker culture which was a springboard for his career. With a true passion for hip-hop, graffiti, and the world of sneakers, Thomas has used intelligently his cultural background in his latest adventure, "Bleu de Paname".

In less than a year, "Bleu de Paname" has built a name in the clothing industry thanks to a marketing and communication focused on the "Made in France", craftmanship, and know-how.But beyond making clothes, Bleu de Paname develops its own tissues, such as moleskin stamped" Bleu de Paname", and aspires to one day develop a denim 100% French in order to cope with the hegemony of Japanese selvage.

Now available in prestigious doors such as Colette, Opening Ceremony, or Dover Street Market, Thomas talks here on what makes the success of its brand, and announced the future collaboration between "Comme des Garçons" and "Bleu de Paname".

COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus Spring Summer 2011 Cut Jacket
COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus have released their new collection for this year’s upcoming season. The offerings are greatly inspired by the symbolism of the death’s head that gives a paradoxical joyful atmosphere throughout the collection. Sticking to the black and white palette which gives a minimal identity to the pieces, some of it, particularly the jackets, are cut to evoke skeletons while others feature a skull design on the back part. Now available at Colette.

Monochrome wallets from Comme des Garcons have been dropped at Oak and I personally love these zipped wallets with embossed reptile style. Focusing on main detail, the wallets came in with a mix of reptile skin which includes a contrasting lizard-like skin detail. Finishing the whole look, each wallet has gold zipper which pops out from the overall black color.

Flamboyant details in a very contrasting base, this cardigan from Comme des Garçons has an eye catching triangular patterns derived from their "Fashion Illusion" subject. From CdG's Fall/Winter 2009 collection, this grey cardigan with interesting addition of green, red and orange looks fun and vibrant adding a much more cheerful look. Now available at Colette.

Would you consider photos from National Geographic magazine be the highlight of your shirt? For Comme des Garçons, they have this kind of idea on highlighting the aspects of our planet. Coming from the Fall/Winter 2009 collection, this "Geography" collection is not just focusing on faces but also has several planets, astronauts and even bizaare graphic prints on their shirts.
