COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus Spring Summer 2011 Cut Jacket
COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus have released their new collection for this year’s upcoming season. The offerings are greatly inspired by the symbolism of the death’s head that gives a paradoxical joyful atmosphere throughout the collection. Sticking to the black and white palette which gives a minimal identity to the pieces, some of it, particularly the jackets, are cut to evoke skeletons while others feature a skull design on the back part. Now available at Colette.

More pieces after the click.

In 1933 René Lacoste created the legendary L.12.12 polo shirt. Throughout its history the popularity of the L.12.12 has continued. In celebration of the well-known polo shirt’s achievement, Lacoste have tapped in 12 collaborators from different sectors of fashion, music, retail and lifestyle to reinterpret and remix several classic designs of shoes. The collaborators included are i-D Magazine, Shoes Master, Sneaker Freaker, Jazzie B, Sébastien Tellier, Stones Throw, Bodega, colette, D-mop, Ato Matsumoto, Christophe Lemaire and Tim Hamilton. All of the wide-range footwear will be made available on December 12 (12.12).

Please look out for all of the sneakers after the click. (Shoes are ordered through the same lineup of collaborators aforementioned)

There’s nothing much “spark” about this sneaker from Dior Homme except the leather lace style which made the overall look worth glancing. The silhouette looked quite a bit of a running shoe and there’s a slight problem regarding the white rubber sole as it crashes the edgy feel but I love the effort of combining street aura with sophistication. Available at Colette.
