Margiela-Leather-Phone-Case
Maison Martin Margiela recently launched this beautiful Phone case as part of its Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. Coming with an interesting shearling interior that’s added for protective purposes, the outer part of the case is Italian handmade leather that’s undeniably sleek and suave. If you’re blinded for the Margiela price, you can get this at Por Vocacao.

Por Vocacao presents the video of Maison Martin Margiela’s new Eyewear Collection for this season. “Featuring an optometrist eye chart concept, the video introduces the brand’s two new concepts for SS11, Anatomic – an enlarged rounded shape enveloping the face to protect the full visual field and Wrong Size – a geometric play on lenses seemingly ill-fitting the frame.”

Maison Martin Margiela Line 8 now available here.

Margiela-Solid-Brass-Bracelets
Let’s hear it from the good guys over Por Vocacao. “Every once in a while we get rubbed just the right way by some kind of accessory and that is certainly the case with these new Margiela bracelets. Designed for SS11, they are made from solid brass and available in two distinctive finishes, old matte gold and white with blue scuffed paint effects. Completed with a simple clasp closing mechanism and the Maison‘s numbers engraved at the back of the wrist.” Get them here.

Maison-Martin-Margiela-11-Wood-Wallets
Coming up with such unique concept that produced several accessories made out of wood, these wallets from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection of Maison Martin Margiela are among the first ones to arrive at Por Vocacao online shop. The detailing is really incredible with the wood veins clearly visible and the fold system along with the lacquered finish looking simply amazing. Inside, there’s room for the usual credit cards and a special money bill compartment. The wallets are available in dark or light colored wood with matching leather interiors. Get it here.

It’s good to know that the Margiela S/S 2011 pre-collection have landed at Oki-Ni and I’m seeing lots of good offerings that are now available – not for pre-order y’all! Putting this piece under the spotlight, this bomber jacket arrives with an interesting design of soft black lamb leather panels over the grey clue cotton twill. Details of the jacket include hip and chest pockets, central zip and press stud fastening collar and hem. Get it here.

It's not just all about the outstanding materials used that gives a Margiela perception a highly anticipating one, but it's all about the unique totality. Take it from this waxed leather baseball sneaker taken from the Fall 2010 collection. What I like about this goody footwear is the three clip down strap on one side and an inner ankle zip detail on the other, all in one shoe. Much more, this shoe is treated with a natural wax and, in all leather expectancy, expect an aging outcome once worn through time. Get it at Oki-Ni!

As I was checking out the Margiela A/W 2010 apparels, I thought I was missing out the clothes and really caught up with this beautiful holdall. Simply constructed with no fancy additives, the bag goes with two carry handles and a detachable shoulder strap. Made from supple black calf leather, the bag can definitely accommodate good amount of items which you might be considering in bringing on a short travel. Get it at Oki-Ni.

An early feature of thicker fabrics, here's a piece I like to wear when temperature starts to drop. From Maison Martin Margiela's A/W 2010 collection, this wool reverse knit v-neck cardigan gets its attention from the monochrome checker board print that looks blurry when seen afar. Now available at Oki-Ni.

Isn't it amazing how two giants collide? Well probably it's not the historical 747 accident nor your imagination of a dinosaur and godzilla at war, but it's the exclusive Michael Stipe and Maison Martin Margiela collaboration. "Produced in exclusive collaboration between Michael Stipe and Maison Martin Margiela, this is a sterling silver microcassette charm (measures approx 1.25” x 1.75”) on a skinny black ribbon – to be tied up and worn in whatever way you imagine. Limited to 199 pieces, each piece is numbered and signed by Stipe." Oki-Ni is the only non MMM store to stock this beauty, why not get it here. Remember again, it's LIMITED.

Appealing totes are the ones which doesn't look like plain canvas totes for me. Well this one's leather and a Margiela which I assume the name itself would create a barrier from the plain totes. As for the label I'm telling here, Margiela's S/S 2010 collection pops out this beautiful cream suede tote bag with carry handles and functional long detachable shoulder strap. Going in to the interior, there's a single large compartment with a zip up side pocket for smaller stuffs. For the leather used on the tote, a unique clay dye process which shows natural pigmentation of calf leather was treated. Warning: Margiela items are prone to being sold out swiftly. Now available at Oki-Ni.

From Margiela with love. This leather vest with gold, silver, and rose tone chain details looks unfixed and semi-abstract with it's flower-like design. Partially covered due to the design, a breast pocket sits to the left side as well on the either side of the waist. Buttons, black poppers. Now available at Browns.

Oki-Ni's fourth installment of their Maison Martin Margiela gallery archive feature will hit the online store soon with cool new additions. "back from the very first collections there are shots of Margiela paraphernalia that provide an even more intimate insight into the brand’s life – a scrap book of pieces including entry wristbands, show freebies, black and white model headshots, branded water bottles, coffee cups, champagne corks … and more." Shot in South London by their in-house photographer, the private collection from Martin Margiela had 60 pieces of apparel, accessories and brand memorabilia.

These interesting boots from Martin Margiela's F/W 2009 collection shows a new way on how leather boots should be. Coming in from motorcycle inspiration, don't you ever think you're wearing designs for jacket as it is dedicated for the sneakers. "The top of the boot is attached by Velcro. Two Velcro-fastening straps also sit on the top right of the trainer. Trainers have a round toe and a rubber sole. The top of the trainer finishes just above the ankle." Now available at Browns.

Martin Margiela Velvet Sneakers

September 8, 2009 |

Talk about being interesting, this sneaker from Martin Margiela is not the usual styling that you could see from the brand, but surely a worthy purchase! Covered entirely with velvet, the low top sneaker brings that vibrant looking, retro chic design to one of the most ideal yet unusual things you could ever have. Upper sneaker including laces, outer sole and mid-sole are covered with blue velvet. Now available at Colette.

Part of F/W 2009 accessories collection from Martin Margiela, this discoball inspired wallet surely is glittery. With tiny reflective plastic squared filling up the outer part, the interior has room for 6 cards. And if you happen to detach things accidentally, the wallet comes with replacement mirror ball squares.

Now available at Oki-Ni.

Atypical, playful and unique it is, these sunglasses surely are synonymous to Margiela. Similar to L'incognito, this one simply is a lighter version of the unique sunglasses. The single lense design is, somehow, comparable to the aviators, disregarding the fact that it has no curve shape. Just for you to be able to find yourself wearing this one, get this at Colette and surely no one is going to take that away from you.

Part of the extra 50% off promo, these items from Acne and Maison Martin Margiela are glaring on the sale portion. The hooded lightweight motor jacket in grape royale from Acne shouldn't be missed as well as the very glossy puffed down vest from Margiela looking nothing but fiery.

Available at eLuxury:
Acne Motor Nylon Jacket $449.00 $179.00.
Maison Martin Margiela Puffed Down Vest $895.00 $358.00.

Mixing up at its best, these oh-so-popular Maison Martin Margiela hi top sneakers are now available at Oki-Ni. Thanks to patented cherry red and grey colors, these "it" footwears would definitely soar its way again.
